Wei Wei at the Beijing Olympics closing ceremony

Wei Wei sings two songs at the closing ceremony and if you ask us, her spirit was there as well on a third one.First she sang the duet "Surpass it" with Sun Nan, then the song "Please stay" together with Jackie Chan, Andy Lau, Joey Yung, Wang Feng and others. The third "Wei Wei song" was "Flowing Stream" (also translated to The Moon is Bright Tonight") performed by seven Chinese folk singers. Flowing Stream is an old popular Yun Nan folk song which Wei Wei made very popular by a unique pop version. Flowing Stream is now one of the lounge tracks on her 20X20 Celebration Collection Volume 2  The Lounge Loop.

Her Olympic dress, designed by couture designer Lars Wallin was specially styled  for the evening in a new glitter fashion. The dress has been a symbol for Wei Wei's Olympic performances since 2005 when she performed as the grand finale at the launch of the Olympic slogan: One World One Dream.
